Wheelchair Ramp FAQ’s

How much does a wheelchair ramp cost?

The price of a wheelchair ramp can vary widely depending on its size, configuration, and the material used. For example, wood and concrete ramps are the most expensive usually ranging from $10,000 to in excess of $25,000, while the modular metal ramps are the least expensive averaging from $3,000 to $6,000. Aluminum modular ramps are the best choice due to their affordability and the fact that they are maintenance free.  Steel ramps are affordable but need maintenance due to rusting and will require painting which is an expense over the life of the ramp.

What is the minimum rental period for a wheelchair ramp?

The minimum rental period is 2 months for a wheelchair ramp. We can, however, remove the ramp earlier upon request. It is best to call our office to discuss your specific situation if you have special circumstances.

Can I get a wheelchair ramp quote over the phone?

Absolutely! If you can email or text pictures and measurements of the area needing a ramp to our office, that would give us enough information to design the appropriate wheelchair ramp and give you an accurate quote.  We would then follow up with an in-person visit to the home or building prior to any installation.

How long will it take to install a ramp?

At Advantage Ramps, all our ramps are modular and we stock everything we need. Most ramps can be installed in less than a day. Very large or commercial ramps may take 2 or more days.
